Dependent Drop Downs in Google Sheets
This script helps you set up 3 levels of dependent drop down selectors within your Google Sheet. When a user selects a value from the first drop down, it'll dynamically update the second drop down with options that are mapped to the selection. This same logic is applied to the third drop down when the second drop down option is selected.
Within the script is a function called scriptSettings() which holds a few variables you'll need to update to fit your needs - such as your Google Sheet ID, the named range you applied to your options, the name of the sheet you want to update the values on, and the column positions of the drop downs.
This code will work as long as you're using Google Apps Script, which is 100% free with your Google account. I've set it up so that it's as close to a "plug n' play" experience as possible.
